Disaster Prevention Committee
Instead of acting after a disaster, if permanent committee on Disaster Prevention is created it may forewarn the authorities about the impending situation.
We send satellites to explore the Sky, while we fail to observe our proximity!
Every year people travel on pilgrimage, every year casualties happen, but, no preventive measures are taken. Most of the accidents are repeated ones, for example, boat accidents at Bihar, West Bengal, Assam are frequent occurrences. Similarly, floods also.
As the saying goes "Prevention is better than Cure", why don't the Government create a permanent committee for Disaster Prevention Advice???
